The 1,716th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 184 combat engagements took place, with the most fighting on the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka axes.
As the General Staff emphasise, Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, put up effective resistance along the entire front line and inflict significant losses on the occupiers.
Yesterday, enemy aircraft carried out 89 air strikes, including dropping 289 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 7,045 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,449 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
The settlements of Ulanove, Yunakivka, Khrapivshchyna, Bachivsk, Pysarivka, Khotin and Mar’ine in Sumy Region, as well as Berylivka in Chernihiv Region, came under artillery fire. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Mohrytsia, Luzhky, Mar’ine, Sinne, Ivolzhanske and Sumy.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck one area where enemy personnel were concentrated and two control points for the enemy’s unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the North Slobozhanskyi axis, the invaders attacked twice in the areas of Pokrovka and Boiaro-Lezhachi.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis, Ukrainian units repelled six enemy attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Ternova, Starytsia, Rybalchyne and Ambarne.
On the Kupiansk axis, the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
Our defenders repelled six attacks on the Lyman axis in the areas of Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Lyman and Zarichne.
On the Sloviansk axis, the invaders carried out two attacks near Nykonorivka and Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the enemy did not conduct active operations over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka axis, ten attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, our defenders stopped 17 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka, and also carried out assaults towards Toretske, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka and Dobropillia.
On the Oleksandrivka axis, the invaders did not conduct assault operations.
On the Huliaipole axis, nine enemy attacks were repelled near Zlahoda, Ternuvate, Dolynka, Hirkе and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv and Dnipro axes, the occupiers did not conduct active operations over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes, the situation remains without significant changes. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day, Russian invader losses totalled 2,380 personnel. Also neutralised were one tank, three armoured combat vehicles, 23 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, five air defence assets, five ground robotic systems, 1,163 unmanned aerial vehicles, 375 vehicles and two units of the enemy’s special equipment.
