On the night of 5 November, the enemy attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv region. Emergency power cuts were introduced in one of the districts.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Viacheslav Chaus.
“The Russians continue to strike the energy sector. Overnight, the enemy attacked an energy facility in the Chernihiv region. Firefighters put out the blaze there. The situation in the power system is difficult at the moment. In one district there are emergency outages, while scheduled hourly power cuts are in place across the rest of the region,” his statement said.
In the Berezna community, private homes and outbuildings were damaged as a result of a UAV strike.
In Semenivka, yesterday afternoon, a хозяйственная building caught fire after an FPV drone hit.
- On the night of 5 November, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with two guided missiles and 128 drones. Air defence neutralised 105 UAVs. As of the morning, several UAVs were still in the air.
