The settlement of Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Region remains under the control of Ukraine’s Defence Forces. Statements by the Russian command that the village has supposedly been captured are untrue and form part of systematic information manipulation.
This was reported by Anastasiia Shevchenko, deputy spokesperson for the Southern Group of Forces, Ukrinform writes.
According to her, it is not the first time the Russian side has claimed to have “taken” Mala Tokmachka, even though Ukrainian units continue to control the settlement.
The spokesperson also noted that throughout October, Russian forces failed to carry out their task of capturing Orikhiv and other settlements in this sector.
In her assessment, the start of November indicates that this trend is continuing: the enemy has not achieved operational success.

The Southern Group of Forces stresses that the Russian command continues to spread false reports of supposedly successful advances and the capture of Ukrainian settlements.
According to a representative of the Southern Group of Forces, Ukrainian units continue to inflict losses on Russian troops on land, in the air, and at sea.
The Defence Forces emphasise that such actions make it possible to disrupt the enemy’s plans and prevent it from achieving its stated objectives.
