In Kyiv, the number of traffic lanes on the Pivdennyi Bridge for vehicles travelling from the left bank to the right bank of the Dnipro has been increased. From now on, two lanes are available in this direction instead of one.
This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.
Use of the additional lane has been permitted for vehicles weighing up to 10 tonnes, as well as for surface public transport.
At the same time, in the direction from the right bank to the left bank of the Dnipro, traffic continues to run in a single lane. The existing weight restrictions remain unchanged.
The Kyiv City State Administration is urging drivers to take the temporary traffic management arrangements into account when planning their routes.
- At its meeting on 5 November, the Kyiv City Council plans to allocate 1 billion hryvnias for a project to build combined water crossings over the Dnipro River and access roads to them.
