HQ update: Separatists quiet after 29 attacks on 8 Jan
Full cease-fire has been observed since midnight.
The Ukrainian antiterrorist operation HQ has recorded 29 violations of "full cease-fire" by pro-Russian separatist armed gangs, the HQ's press centre has said on Facebook.
On 8 January, the militants continued firing on our positions near temporarily occupied Donetsk and on the outskirts of Horlivka, using firearms, grenade launchers and large-calibre machine guns.
Shooting was recorded near Maryinka, Pisky, Opytne, Novhorodske and Luhanske.
It was quiet in the Mariupol and Luhansk sectors.
The separatists have not violated the cease-fire agreement at all.
No Ukrainian servicemen were killed but one was injured in Donbas on 8 January 2016.
