ATO HQ reports 20 shooting attacks by militants in east
Shooting continues in Donbas.
Pro-Russian militants have opened fire on the antiterrorist operation (ATO) troops in Donbas 20 times since the start of the day, the ATO press centre has said in its regular Facebook update.
The strongpoints in Opytne, Pisky and near the Butivka mine were fired at with small arms and anti-tank grenade launchers. The separatists used the same weapons to fire on Maryinka three times.
They fired a heavy machine gun on Ukrainian servicemen's fortifications in Luhanske.
Near temporarily occupied Horlivka, they fired grenade launchers on Novhorodske and Verkhnyotoretske, an anti-aircraft system in Mayorsk and a mortar in Zaytseve.
In the Mariupol sector, they used grenade launchers against the ATO fortifications near Pavlopil. Their sniper was spotted in Shyrokyne.
One Ukrainian serviceman has been killed and three wounded in the ATO area over the past 24 hours.
