Pro-Russian militants have launched 14 shooting attacks at the antiterrorist operation (ATO) area since the start of 26 February.

For the first time in several days, a cease-fire in the Luhansk sector was violated when the militants fired grenade launchers and open aimed fire near Novotoshkivske.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces' fortifications near Maryinka, Avdiyivka, Pisky and Luhanske were targeted with grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms. Enemy snipers shot at the ATO positions near Novhorodske, Maryinka and Luhanske, the ATO HQ said.

An ATO strongpoint near Novhorodske came under mortar fire.

The militants used grenade launchers and heavy machine guns near Opytne, Pisky and the Butivka mine.

One Ukrainian serviceman was killed by the militants near the village of Hranitne on 25 February.
