Experts to discuss US presidential campaign, implications for Ukraine

On 7 April (Thursday), at 11:00, Gorshenin Institute will hold a roundtable "The presidential campaign in the United States: Trends, Forecasts and impact on US-Ukrainian relations."

Agenda:

The year of election campaign: the interim results. The specifics of the current phase of the presidential race in the United States.

Trends and outlooks: how the election campaign unfolds? What are the chances of the main contenders for victory in the primaries? What would the victory of a candidate in the primaries mean in the context of the struggle for the presidency?

What are the stances of the leading candidates on foreign policy issues? How the victory of a candidate may impact the US-Ukrainian relations?

  • Oleksandr Sushko, research director of the Institute of Euro-Atlantic Cooperation Institute;
  • Yevhen Kurmashov, political consultant, director of political programs of the Gorshenin Institute;
