The Polish and Ukrainian presidents will issue a joint political declaration on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, Polskie Radio has quoted Polish Secretary of State Krzysztof Szczerski as saying.
The declaration is expected to touch upon Ukraine's independence and Poland's contribution to it.
Polish President Andrzej Duda will join celebrations in Kyiv on 24 August. He will also deliver a speech to Ukrainian ambassadors.
