French Ambassador to Ukraine Isabelle Dumont says her country does not take someone's side in the conflict in Donbass and is just trying to help implement the Minsk Agreements, she said at the VI National Expert Forum by Gorshenin Institute on Wednesday, 12 October.
"The French position is simple to realize the Minsk agreement That's all," Dumont said.
The ambassador said she sees no alternatives to these agreements.
"Not because they are so unique or good, but simply because they are basic: cease-fire, the withdrawal of weapons, withdrawal of troops, control - all this must be done. I see no plan B, because plan A is so obvious," Dumont said.
"We hear a lot of criticism about Minsk, but people who criticize them do not offer anything better. If there are other ideas - welcome," she said.
