Flu vaccines will hit the shelves of Ukrainian pharmacies by the end of October, the Ministry of Health said in a release on Tuesday, 18 October.
"Both vaccines are passing the quality-control tests at the State Expert Center, which will be completed in the coming weeks. They are expected to be on the market by the end of October. Such terms are caused by the dates of vaccine delivery for registration by the manufacturer. The Ministry of Health, for its part, adheres to the necessary procedures to ensure the quality of vaccines before they get to pharmacies," reads the statement.
Ukraine has registered and approved the use of VaxigripTetra Split and GC Flu with the updated composition of strains.
