Both US candidates' HQs work to fan conflict - Gorshenin Institute

The emotions of hate run high in this campaign, and one cannot say if they are stirred solely by Trump's headquarters. Technologies are pretty effective and work in favour of the candidate from the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, just as well, so both HQs work to deepen the divide. Different candidates have different target groups and practice their techniques accordingly. Because the way the headquarters of Hillary Clinton have been playing the demographic card since the very run-up, the way how the issues of race, color are discussed in the campaign - all this greatly affects and mobilizes the other part of the electorate. It is far from truth, therefore, that only Trump's headquarters are busy deepening the division in society. The divide does exist, the degree of conflict is very serious, but it seems like a large part of American society is on the side of the Democratic runner. Whose supporters will be able to mobilize and hit polling stations is another question altogether.

"In a situation of almost equal ratings the mobilization of the electorate is critical in the United States, especially on the eve of the election. The outcome of the presidential campaign, ultimately, depends on whose voters go to polling stations and vote. The statements of Trump about possible non-recognition of the election returns, therefore, should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, the loser of the ballot does not have much legal tools to launch the process of non-recognition or protest against the presidential elections in the United States. Moreover, according to surveys, the American society, including many supporters of Trump, is ready to accept Hillary Clinton as president," said the expert.
