Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemns desecration of Polish monument
The minister blames a "third party".
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has condemned the desecration of a Polish memorial in the village of Pidkamin (Brody District, Lviv Region).
"I condemn repeat acts of vandalism against Polish monuments in Lviv Region. This is a familiar style of a third party which we are pushing back together," he tweeted.
It was reported on 12 March that unidentified individuals splashed red paint on the graves of Poles killed in 1944 at a cemetery in Pidkamin. The vandals wrote "Death to Poles".
