Self-Reliance (Self-Help) MP Alyona Babak has stepped down, according to Ukrainian News.
"There are personal reasons. I think I need to change my field of work. I am not a politician, I am more of an expert. For me as a person, political activity is difficult," she said.
Babak added that she had no difference with the faction or party.
She was No 8 on the Self-Reliance party's election list.
She is a deputy head of the parliamentary committee for construction, urban development and utilities.
She will be replaced by the secretary of the Lutsk city council, Yuliya Vusenko, No 36 on Self-Reliance's election list. Vusenko has been acting Lutsk mayor since the death of Mykola Romanyuk on 3 February.
