A Belarusian court has ordered the deportation of two Ukrainian nationals detained during the 25 March rally in Minsk, a spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry's consular service department, Vasyl Kyrylych, has said.
"Three Ukrainian nationals were detained during the protests in Minsk. One of them was charged with an administrative offence and arrested for 15 days. A court decided to deport two others to Ukraine," he said.
They are currently held in a remand centre in Minsk.
The Ukrainian embassy sent a note to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry asking it to facilitate diplomats' meeting with the detainees.
