One Ukrainian serviceman killed, nine wounded in east
Some casualties were caused by an explosive device.
One Ukrainian serviceman was killed and nine wounded in the antiterrorist operation area in Donbas on 11 August, according to the Defence Ministry's daily update.
"Over the past day, the Armed Forces have not had anyone killed in action but six servicemen have been wounded. This happened as a result of enemy fire," the spokesman for the Defence Ministry, Col Andriy Lysenko, said at a briefing.
He explained that one serviceman was killed and three more were wounded by an explosive device.
"This happened near Avdiyivka and Zaytseve," he added.
