The Kyiv court of appeal has refused to suspend Odesa mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
Its press service said on 6 March the court rejected a prosecutor's appeal against the 27 February ruling of Kyiv's Solomyanskyy district court.
Trukhanov is suspected of embezzlement of the local Krayan factory through abuse of office.
On 15 February, Kyiv's Solomyanskyy district court released him from custody on the surety of Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Dmytro Holubov.
