The Ukrainian oil and gas company Naftogaz Ukrayiny and Russia's Gazprom have agreed to meet by the end of March.
Naftogaz said on Facebook that it would inform Gazprom that it did not agree to sever the gas contracts.
"We also sent Gazprom a request to revise tariffs. The implementation of the arbitration rulings will certainly be discussed at the meeting," the press service quoted the chief commercial officer of Naftogaz Group, Yuriy Vitrenko, as saying.
Naftohaz was commenting on Gazprom deputy board chairman Aleksandr Medvedev's statement that the Ukrainian company said it was ready to start negotiations on the termination of gas contracts.
