Parliament has taken a three-week "May recess" after deputy parliament speaker Iryna Herashchenko closed today's morning session, an correspondent has reported.

There were up to 20 MPs in the session hall at the time.

Herashchenko reminded MPs that they were supposed to work in committees and constituencies during the next three weeks.

Over three years, 188 MPs skipped almost half of all votes in parliament, while 43 MPs skipped almost all votes.
