President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed the head of Ukraine's mission to NATO, Vadym Prystayko, a deputy head of his administration.

The deputy head of the presidential administration in charge of foreign affairs, Kostyantyn Yeliseyev, resigned on 16 May.

On 21 May, Zelenskyy appointed Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkal as a deputy head of this administration but later this decree was declared void. Zerkal continues her work at the Foreign Ministry.

LB.ua reported earlier that Prystayko was considered for foreign minister.

In 2014-2017, he was a deputy foreign minister. Earlier, he was Ukraine's ambassador to Canada.
