Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Olena Zerkal has declined her appointment as deputy head of the presidential administration, Ukrayinska Pravda has quoted sources in President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team as saying.

According to the new website, Zerkal agreed to become the envoy in charge of international court cases against Russia, not a deputy head of the presidential administration.

Zerkal was appointed deputy head of Zelenskyy's administration by his decree No 309/2019. It is now missing from the website.

On 21 May, Zelenskyy appointed his adviser Andriy Bohdam, who was businessman Ihor Kolomoyskyy's lawyer, as head of the presidential administration.

The new deputy heads of the administration are Ruslan Ryaboshapka, who advised Zelenskyy during the election campaign, GoodMedia production company head Kyrylo Tymoshenko and the script writer of the Servant of the People TV series which starred Zelenskyy, Yuriy Kostyuk.
