Bomb disposal units of the State Emergencies Service have found 31 mines upon checking 0.13 ha of the area around the ruined bridge across the Siverskyy Donets River near Stanytsya Luhanska, the Interior Ministry has said.
"On 1-10 August 2019, units of the State Emergencies Service will clear the area along the ruined motorway across the Siverskyy Donets River 30 meters deep on both sides," it added.
During this period, they were given security guarantees to check the area.
As was reported on 17 July, the trilateral contact group on a Donbas settlement agreed that the sides would simultaneously start disassembling their fortifications near Stanytsya Luhanska to give bomb experts access to the bridge.
