During the meeting, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to implement a civil protection plan. This was reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The decision will allow us to coordinate all authorities and regional state administrations as much as possible in a state of war. In addition, it allows us to direct all necessary resources and quickly and efficiently use them for the needs of our military," said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
The government has instructed regional administrations to intensify the evacuation of civilians in areas of active hostilities.
As mentioned before, today the Verkhovna Rada has imposed martial law. The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to immediately implement a plan of introducing legal measures of the martial law regime in Ukraine and to provide appropriate funding. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine, regional administrations and other state bodies and institutions were instructed to bring the civil protection system ready.
