In the morning, 26 February occupiers hit a residential building in Kyiv, at 6A Lobanovskoho avenue, informs LB.ua.

The target was Zhuliany airport. Two explosions were heard somewhere between Sevastopolska square and Zhuliany airport.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine informs that at 6A Lobanovskoho avenue, a shell hit a multi-storey residential building (17-18 floors).

According to the latest information, there are no victims. The residents are being evacuated, with the help of 12 rescuers and 3 units of machinery from the State Emergency Service.

A rocket hit a residential building at 6A Lobanivskoho avenue. Emergency rescue teams are headed there.

After fierce fighting, the city of Vasylkiv in Kyiv region is still controlled by Ukraine.

On 26 February at 7 am Mykhailo Podoliak, Office of the President of Ukraine advisor, announced that the situation in Ukraine, on the whole territory, is controlled. In the capital, the enemy brought all their reserves into action, but the city is fighting back.

The Ukrainian forces are defending the borders of Kharkiv. At the moment, all directions are blocked, informs Oleh Syniehubov, the head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
