Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi urged Ukrainians not to believe the false information about his alleged call on the Ukrainian Armed Forces to lay down their weapons. Such was the message of the latest address of the Ukrainian head of state.
“Currently, the internet is flooded with fake information about my alleged calls on our armed forces to lay down their weapons and an alleged ongoing evacuation. Let me reiterate: I remain here. No one is laying down their weapons, because our weapon is the truth. Our truth is that this is our land, our country, our children, and we shall protect them. That is all I wanted to tell you. Glory to Ukraine!” said the President.
Earlier, it was reported that the United States urged Volodymyr Zelenskyi to evacuate from Kyiv, but he refused.
