In Mariupol: A group of Russian spies was detained. It consisted of three people. It was established that they were gathering intelligence data on the deployment and relocation of Ukrainian troops in the region. They were planning to pass the information to their curators through the closed communication channels.
During the search, 8 laptops, flash drives and hard drives with evidence of reconnaissance and sabotage were fond among the belongings of the criminals
"During the course of investigative and operational actions, Security Service of Ukraine officers received important information that will be used to destroy the invaders," the intelligence service said.
In Mykolaiv Region: The enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Russian Federation is eliminated. The invaders tried to break through to strategic targets.
Earlier, another 15 Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group were eliminated in the region.
In Vinnytsia: A saboteur of the Russian military intelligence who was placing marks or targeted shelling and rocket-bomb attacks was detained. He disguised himself as an "ordinary citizen" but had special equipment and automatic weapons.
In Prykarpattia: An informant of the Russian special services was detained. According to the Security Service of Ukraine he was collecting information about the movements of Ukrainian military vehicles in the region. The attacker was detained near one of the military facilities where the invaders fired missiles on the first day of the war, the 24th of February.
In addition to this around the whole territory of Ukraine there are complex measures referring to checking the information about suspicious individuals, provided by citizens; finding and elimination of enemy's marking, as well as counter-sabotage work within information and cyber spheres.
