Since the beginning of Russian invasion to Ukraine, 16 children have died at the hands of the occupiers. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy.
Besides, Zaluzhny said that the occupiers used mobile short-range ballistic missile systems Iskander and struck peaceful Zhytomyr. The Russian military are also disguised into the uniform of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and use ambulances to cover sabotage acts.
"They use women and children as human shields. Heavy weapons are fired at residential buildings. They send conscript soldiers to the hell of war. They shoot a car with a family inside. Since the beginning of the open armed aggression, 16 children have already died at the hands of the occupier. We will never forgive that! ” - Zaluzhnuy wrote.
The Commander-in-Chief added that in just four days of resistance, the Ukrainians had shown how far they are from Russia in mental sense.
