Poroshenko on CNN called on the West to give Ukraine even more Stingers, Javelins and NLAW

Petro Poroshenko called on CNN live on Western allies to give Ukraine even more weapons and military ammunition.

"Russians are met with Molotov cocktails, or, as they are now called in Ukraine, "Bandera smoothies", instead of flowers of fame. In three days, Russia has lost 4,500 people, hundreds of tanks and armoured vehicles, about five dozen planes and helicopters," Petro Poroshenko said.

"Today, the Ukrainian military is demonstrating how strong we all are. They are doing the main work, but the whole country is resisting," said the fifth president.

"What do we need?" Ukraine needs radio stations, bulletproof vests, and helmets. However, most of all, we need anti-aircraft systems and Stingers to resist Russian helicopters. We still need anti-tank systems, Javelins, NLAW, and other models, because almost every defence unit must be equipped with anti-tank weapons - and this will help us stop Russian tanks. Then Russian tankers will refuse to go to Ukraine because their death will be inevitable. We also need air defence systems," Poroshenko said.
