In the turban-type settlement Ivankiv, Kyiv region, a museum of history and local lore burned down, which contained about two and a half dozen works by the artist Maria Prymachenko. Director of the Vyshhorod Historical and Cultural Reserve Vlada Lytovchenko reported about it.

The fire was caused by the actions of the occupying forces in the village. “Russia's armed attack on Ukraine is destroying numerous civilian and cultural heritage sites in Ukraine. Another irreparable loss of Ukraine's historical and cultural heritage is the destruction by the aggressor in these hellish days of the Ivankiv Museum of History and Local Lore, where among many interesting exhibits and thematic exhibitions were the pride and decoration of the well-known Ukrainian artist Maria Prymachenko,” – said in the message.

On the 27th of February, the Minister of Culture of Ukraine, Olexander Tkachenko, addressed UNESCO with the request to deprive Russia of the member of the organization status and change the country-organizer of the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee.
