Boats from Romania arrived at the Izmail Sea Station to donate humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian military.

This was reported in the press service of the Administration of Seaports of Ukraine.

Five small boats with medicine and food arrived at the Izmail Sea Station today. Humanitarian aid, in these difficult days for Ukraine, was provided by our neighbors on the Danube - Tulchyn County Council and the Institute of Prefect Tulcea. Gathering and organization of transportation was held by club "Izmail", - reported in Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

Medicines from Romania were handed over to the Izmail District State Administration, which will distribute aid to military units.

It will be recalled that on 28 February, Romania closed its airspace to Russian aircraft.

Sweden has said that the country will allocate an additional two million euros to the Red Cross in Ukraine.
