Up to 70 Ukrainian soldiers were killed during the shelling of a military unit in Okhtyrka. This was announced by the Head of the Sumy Regional State Administration Dmytro Zhyvytskyy in his telegram account.

"Yesterday, invaders' artillery shelled the military unit," wrote Zhyvytskyi. “They continue to get bodies out from under the rubble. There are SES members and volunteers working. There are many dead. Currently, places in the cemetery are being prepared for about 70 dead Ukrainian soldiers. We are preparing the data of our 200s, of the deceased.”

Also he added "The enemy also gets what they deserve. There were a lot of Russian bodies around the city, we are collecting them. The Red Cross staff is taking them home."

Earlier in the day, the Russians dropped a bomb on an oil depot in Okhtyrka. Zhyvytskyy wrote that the bomb hit an oil tanker where there was not much fuel.

"Among the bad news to report, civilians in a car were shot in Chupakhivka today. Enemies stopped their military armored vehicle, shot the people who were travelling in a VAZ 99 car, left their vehicle on the road, got into the car and drove in an unknown direction." Zhyvytskyi reports.
