In Kyiv, the Red Cross Society evacuated 40 patients from the Cancer Institute. Among the patients there were 19 children. This was reported to LB.ua by the charity organization.
Cancer patients were first evacuated to the Central Railway Station. All the time on the way from the Cancer Institute to the trains they were accompanied by volunteers.
Next, the patients receive on-site care, also it is decided which cities are the best for patients to go and continue treatment.
