Google Play Market announces that in Ukraine, there is now an application that will warn about air-raid threats in a specific region.
“The application is already available on the Google Play Market and AppStore. It does not require registration, and does not collect users’ data or location data. It sends the loudest critical alerts about air-raid, chemical, man-made or other types of civil defense alarms, even when the smartphone is in silent or sleep mode,” says the statement.
To receive notifications, one needs:

To install the application from Google Play Market or AppStore.

Grant permission to send notifications and critical messages.

Select a region for which you would like to receive notifications.

Monitor the beginning and cancellation of air threats.
Vinnytsia, Volyn, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Lviv, Poltava, Rivne, Kharkiv, Kherson, Khmelnytsky, and Chernivtsi regions are already available in the application.
Since the beginning of the war, 19 civilians, including a child, have died in the Kyiv region.
