The mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, said that there were reports of malfunctioning fixed telephone lines in the city.
Residents should remain calm. The problem is being sorted out.
"We have reports of landlines not working in Lviv. At present, it is impossible to make incoming or outgoing calls between fixed and mobile operators," the mayor said on Facebook.
The State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine asks Ukrainians whose phones were confiscated by the occupiers to notify the operator and block the number immediately.
