A humanitarian cargo delivery center receiving help from the European Union countries for Ukraine has been opened at the Eurocar plant in Solomonovo village of Zakarpattya region.

It was announced by the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

The hub will deliver humanitarian goods to the most affected areas of the country - Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya and Odesa.

"The location of the hub allows you to receive and send goods by railway, as it has a driveway of two types - European (1435) and Ukrainian (1520). The first humanitarian cargo from the hub was sent to Kharkiv by railway, ” the announcement states.

Priority types of cargo are medicines, personal hygiene products, long-term food, clothing, bottled water, baby products (food, diapers, etc.), sleeping bags and mats.

Eurocar is the official manufacturer of Škoda cars in Ukraine, one of the largest car manufacturers in Ukraine, located in Solomonovo village, 1.5 km from the border with Hungary and 2 km from Slovakia border.

We remind that six countries have permitted the carriers of humanitarian goods to Ukraine to travel without authorization.
