The enemy’s primary goal remains the siege of Kyiv and weakening the resistance in the blocked towns, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“While performing this task, the armed forces of the Russian Federation have exhausted most of the operational reserves and began transferring additional forces and resources from the Southern and Eastern military districts,” the statement says.

The second echelons and most of the operational reserves of the armed forces of the Russian Federation are involved in the operation.

There have been changes in the tactics of Russian criminals:

  • failing to fulfill the task of military blitzkrieg, Russian Federation has turned to openly terrorist ways of conducting warfare on Ukrainian territory;
  • they increased the number of tasks with the use of special units in the towns’ suburbs as attack units;
  • the use of airborne troops to ensure the construction of bridges over water obstacles has increased;
  • the Russian occupiers pay considerable attention to intensifying measures of psychological influence on the population and military;
  • in the near future, we should expect a comprehensive and large-scale spread of fake news by the enemy, which will be carried out with the involvement of the full range of modern media.

In Slobozhanschyna, units of the 20th army of the enemy are trying to continue the offensive against the Joint Forces in the Novoaydar and Severodonetsk areas.

On Donetsk's operational direction, the enemy with the resources of six battalion tactical groups is trying to keep the encirclement around Mariupol city. To make up for the losses in the Donetsk region, Russian curators began bringing Russian Armed Forces service members to the Ilovaisk station.

In the Black Sea, the Black Sea Fleet group has been withdrawn from naval bases with the task of striking the surface forces of the Navy's Heterogeneous Forces Group, but civilian ships and their crews are often becoming victims to Russian pirates.

Not abandoning his intentions to take over the Black Sea coast, the enemy continues to prepare to land marines in Zatoka - Chornomorsk. Within 40 km east of Chornomorsk, there are two large landing ships of the occupiers.

Up to 80 representatives of the Russian media and a large group of "demonstrators" were brought to the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to organize rallies of "local residents" in the occupied cities.

It is likely that shortly they will be sent to Kherson to organize staging rallies with the participation of propaganda media, to "support" the change of the Ukrainian government, and to legalize the occupation.

The Russian occupiers are looking for new ways to misinform Ukrainians to justify their aggressive actions, at least in front of their own people. To do this, they are bringing people from Crimea to Kherson, who must go to a rally.
