The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine urged Ukrainians to resist the enemy.
Part of our territory is temporarily occupied by the Russian invaders, and it is time for Ukrainians to put up total people resistance, the agency said.
"What is the total people resistance? A tank battalion of 30 tanks which stands next to the positions of our Armed Forces will lose 5 or 6 tanks, but not combat readiness. If the rear convoys that transport ammunition, fuel, spare parts, and repairmen to the tanks are stopped or destroyed, the battalion becomes completely incapable, ”the statement says.
Rear convoys of the enemy are not armored. They are guarded by soldiers with no combat experience and are easy targets.
“Even simple means, such as felled trees, will help to burn and destroy the convoy and take prisoners. Blocking the military supply means ending the war in a few days. Total unity- total uprisal - total blockade. All means can be used! ” said the Ministry.
The Ministry added that this applies only to occupied territories.
