Defenders of Ukraine can use trophy equipment and weapons to repel the occupier, said the head of the parliamentary faction "Servant of the People", David Arahamiya.
"Our state has an unequivocal position on this issue: equipment and weapons acquired in battle or abandoned by the aggressor can be used during martial law and must be used by our defense forces to protect our territory and citizens," he wrote on Facebook.
Arahamiya added that after the victory in the war, all trophy equipment and weapons will be properly accounted for and legalized.
"And now they must be immediately used for defense!" the People's Deputy reiterated.
As reported earlier, factories in Ukraine’s defense industry (Ukroboronprom) have begun repairing trophy equipment seized from the Russian occupiers.
