Klytschko Urges to Open Private Pharmacies in Kyiv

The Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klytschko appealed to owners of private pharmacies to open the establishments. He stated this in a video message on his Facebook page.

"I appeal to the owners of private pharmacies: open them, who can! It is very important. People are waiting in lines for medicines in public pharmacies for hours," he said.

Klytschko noted that the night in the capital was relatively calm, air defense systems worked several times.

"The city is under martial law now. You can drive a car, grocery stores and most public pharmacies "Pharmacia" are open. But if there is no extreme need, refrain from moving around the city – for your own safety. And don't ignore the alarm. Go down to the shelter right away!” he emphasized.

The mayor of Kyiv also said that the Northern and Darnytskyy bridges were opened for communication between the left and right banks of Kyiv.

Earlier it was reported that Vitaliy Klytschko visited a shelter in the subway, where Kyiv residents are, to talk to them and inquire about their needs.
