The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, criticized NATO for refusing to close the sky over Ukraine but announced that the work on providing Ukraine with combat aircraft continues. This was said during the broadcasting of the national telemarathon, Liga.net informs.
“We remain strong and continue to work bilaterally with our partners to receive aircraft and air defense systems from them. These are NATO-member states but not the Alliance as a whole,” - Dmytro Kuleba said. However, he did not name the countries that agreed to help protect the Ukrainian sky. He also urged to remove the issue of weapon supplies so as not to put these countries under attack on Russian secret agents, who are beginning to work there, trying to get further supplies denied. Kuleba assures that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Infrastructure, and the Ministry of Defense have provided safe routes for providing necessary weapons and equipment to Ukraine. There are “reliable friends” who will supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons. Yesterday NATO denied Ukraine’s appeal to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine. This was announced by the Secretary-General of the Alliance Jens Stoltenberg after a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that after the NATO summit’s decision not to close the sky over Ukraine, all the people that will die would also die because of the weakness and disunity of the Alliance.
