Russian soldiers have brought full dress uniforms with medals attached.
This is reported by the Command of the Special Operation Forces on Facebook.
“They were heading here to kill our children, destroy our homes, and then march in a ceremonial parade on Khreshchatyk,” the message says. “They even brought their ceremonial uniform with medals. But something went wrong. Part of them have manured Ukrainian soil, another part is in captivity, asking for forgiveness”.
It should be noted that most of the captive Russian soldiers claim that they were going on “military exercise” and didn’t know anything about the aggressive intentions of their command.
As a reminder, today the Ministry of Defence has shared instructions for Russians on how to surrender and become a captive.
As of 6 March, occupiers’ fatalities constitute more than 11 thousand.
