No more Fairy, Always or Pampers - the largest producer of household chemicals Procter & Gamble leaves Russia

Due to the war in Ukraine, the American company Procter & Gamble is stopping investments and advertising activities in Russia, leaving only the sale of basic hygiene products, which will also reduce.

This is stated in an open letter from the CEO of Procter & Gamble Jon Moeller. He noted that the situation requires "introducing important changes."

"We have stopped all new investments in Russia and stopped all media and advertising activities. We are significantly reducing our product portfolio to focus on the basic health, hygiene, and personal care products needed by many Russian families who depend upon them in their daily life. "

The company owns the brands Pampers, Ariel, Tide, Lenor, Always, Tampax, Braun, Gillette, Head & Shoulders, Pantene, Fairy, Mr. Clean, Oral-B, Blend-a-Med, Old Spice and Safeguard.

Earlier, several Western companies abandoned the Russian market, including IKEA, Jysk, Spotify, H&M, Apple, Heineken, Adobe, Samsung Electronics, Ford, and many others.
