The evacuation of civilians from Irpyn to Kyiv continues, the State Emergency Service reports.
Almost 3000 civilian people have been assisted and the evacuation remains underway.
The mayor of Irpyn, Oleksandr Markushin, wrote on Facebook that the evacuation from the Romanivka residential district in Irpyn will last until 17:00.
“Buses are waiting for you there! Come on! And please spread this information around. Let’s stay strong!” the mayor wrote.
As reported earlier, over 150 people were evacuated in the morning from Irpyn on foot.
Today Markushin said that he received messages from the occupiers with threats to his life and health. The enemy demanded he surrender the city. The mayor made a counteroffer that the occupiers leave the Irpyn territory within 24 hours.
