The Kuznya na Rybalskomu plant gives half a thousand PK ("Pokemon") machine guns manufactured for export to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the press service of the European Solidarity party, this number will equip six brigades of the Ukrainian army.
This "Pokemon" is almost entirely made on the "Kuznya na Rybalskomu", every detail except the barrels. The rest is made at our enterprise. We planned the export contract for thousands of units three years ago. Today, it is possible to defend Ukraine," said Konstantyn Kartoshkin, the plant's general director.
Today, the Kuznya na Rybalskomu plant has produced many PK machine guns. It is a primary machine gun for the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Petro Poroshenko said.
"According to the staff list, a squad must have one machine gun, a platoon must have three machine guns, and a company must have nine guns. Correspondingly, there must be twenty-seven guns for a battalion, and about 70-80 for a brigade," explains the fifth president.
"The Kuznya na Rybalskomu plant is handing over to our glorious Armed Forces, in particular the Land Forces, machine-gun weapons for six full-fledged brigades. Today, we are using a third of all the quantity to equip the Land Forces," Petro Poroshenko said.
"We emphasize that we will give the guns not only for the defence of Kyiv. The Armed and Territorial Defense Forces will get PK machine guns if the Commander of the Ground Forces makes such a decision. Wherever our troops defend Ukraine from the aggressor - in Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv - they will get the weapons," Poroshenko explained.
"We will do our best to complete all the necessary parts. We work in very effective cooperation, and I want to thank the plant staff for the fact that in these times, they brought people out and are doing everything to increase the combat capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
"We support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We are part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine because today, every Ukrainian is a soldier, a warrior who has to defend their native land side by side regardless of whether you are in the factory, the territorial defence, or the Armed Forces. That is why I wish all of us a common victory," Petro Poroshenko said.
