On 9 March, the Ukrainian army carried out at least seven powerful strikes on enemy positions, killing two Russian regimental commanders. Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President Oleksiy Arestovych said, according to Interfax Ukraine.
"At least 7 powerful strikes were carried out on Brovary, Izyum, and Mykolayiv. In the directions of Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih, the enemy advanced battalion-tactical groups, which were destroyed during the march. Our troops near Kharkiv took over Dergachi, cutting off communications between the Northern Group of troops and those who were in the area of Izyum," Arestovych said.
He added that the country's military and political leadership is aware of the humanitarian situation. He noted that the improvement of the humanitarian situation is directly related to the success of the Ukrainian army.
As reported earlier, Russia does not provide a humanitarian corridor to Mariupol, where the actions of enemy troops caused a humanitarian catastrophe. The occupying forces not only interfere with the delivery of humanitarian aid but also prevent evacuations. This morning, they resumed airstrikes on residential areas of the city, damaging the university building.
