The occupants bombed the residential areas of Sumy during the night, The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
“Twenty-two people, including three children, were killed by a single bomb,” the statement read.
Over 30 families were left homeless in one of Sumy’s districts.
The attack resulted in casualties and destruction in the surrounding villages, where enemy bombs have landed.
“The Russians, furious with rage, paraded heavy military equipment and conducted shelling as a “warning” during the organized movement of civilians along the humanitarian corridors. But the city is holding on!” the statement read.
As reported earlier, on the morning of 8 March, 21 people died, including two children, following air bombing raids on Sumy.
