The Kharkiv Art Museum suffered from the shelling of Russian troops. This was reported by the press service of the museum.
"Our museum found itself in difficult circumstances. The blast shattered the glass in most windows. I would like to inform you that the exhibit items are not damaged. Each one of them, which was in the open display, was moved to safer places. However, a rapid change in temperature and humidity will later have a negative impact on the state of their preservation, "the statement reads.
Currently, the institution needs the help of volunteers. Polyethylene film, plywood boards or regular boards are needed to reinforce damaged windows.
As reported earlier, earlier occupiers damaged the Kharkiv house «Slovo».
