The captured Russian pilot, Oleksandr Krasnoiartsev, provided the Ukrainian defenders with the testimony about the order to attack civilians not with precision-guided but with unguided bombs.
Krasnoiartsev’s plane, Su-34 that bombarded the residential buildings of Chernihiv, was snot down on March 5.

The crew catapulted - the navigator was killed, the pilot was taken prisoner, and he gave valuable testimony.
“Krasnoiartsev testified that Russian military command is deliberately ordering the bombings of the civilian infrastructure and residential districts of Ukrainian cities. The bombs used for it are not precision-guided, as military leaders and propagandists occupiers suggest, but unguided free-fall bombs OFAB-250-270, FAB-500, OFZAB-500. This results in significant civilian casualties and the destruction of civilian infrastructure. Such bombings are another obvious crime against humanity of the occupier's army," the intelligence emphasized.
Captured Krasnoiartsev is a Mayor, 1st class pilot, Chief of Air, Fire and Tactical Training of the 2nd Mixed Air Regiment of the 21st Mixed Aviation Division of the Russian Armed Forces Air Force (“Chagol” Airfield, Cheliabinsk). All evidence obtained from him is being processed by the investigating authorities and will be passed to the Hague Tribunal.
Krasnoiartsev said in a video that in captivity, the Ukrainian military provided him with all the necessary medical care. He also called on Russian military pilots based in Briansk, Russia, to stop bombing Ukrainian civilians and civilian targets.
Earlier, the captured Russian technician told the Security Service of Ukraine that there is mass desertion among occupiers. The Russian military is fleeing even before reaching the territory of Ukraine.
