People's Artist of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva spoke live on Rada TV channel about how she helps Ukrainian defenders.
The 84-year-old actress survived World War II and has been supporting Ukrainian fighters since 2014. She now receives defenders at home, where they can wash, eat and put on clean clothes.
"I've been almost everywhere, I've been at the frontline, I know how they lived and how they survived, how they suffered, how they fought. And now I know how they defend us. What superhuman strength, what superhuman courage these wonderful people have! They are our Ukrainian soldiers ", - Rogovtseva told. "I volunteer at home, I have a "household headquarters" here. The guys come to wash, I wash their clothes, dry it and give it back clean. And when they bring their wet socks in a plastic bag, I gladly give them back a clean pair. I feed them." – she added.
Initially, the actress cooked for the fighters herself, but now other volunteers bring home-made food.
