Foreign resources have started to publish an article about the alleged persecution of Jews in the Zhytomyr Region. Purportedly, the locals arrange riots.
The Security Service of Ukraine has refuted this information.
"This is a downright lie, by which the enemy try to sow inter-ethnic enmity inside our country," - the SSU said.
The main rabbi of Zhytomyr Shlomo Wilhelm has already refuted the Russian fakes.
"Ukraine is a free democratic country. People of all nationalities live here peacefully and amicably, my children grew up here and studied at a school where they teach in Ukrainian.What kind of Nazism are we talking about here?” - he said.
New York Jewish organizations are collecting millions to support Ukraine.
The Chief Rabbi of Zhytomyr urged everyone to take any information responsibly, to check everything through reliable and fair resources, do not trust hype headlines on dubious websites.
"Let's be smarter and don`t allow the directors and technologists of this war to carry out their lethal scenarios," - Shlomo Wilhelm said.
Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions suffered the most damage from enemy shelling last Saturday.
Russian invaders do not stop shelling Zhytomyr and the region. Innocent people are dying, especially children.
